Glen Keith: Founded: 1957 Debate: “Glen Kiess” Meaning: “Valley of Wood” Status: closed

The distillery Glen Keith is located in Keith next to the river Isla. It was built on the site of an old grain mill and the then owner Seagram had huge warehouses built to prepare a large part of the barrels of the then nine active distilleries for blending. In 2002 it was closed down by Pernod.
The whisky is rather malty in style, with a slight spiciness and a hint of ginger.
