The Glen Deveron is produced in the Macduff distillery as an original bottling. For independent bottlers, on the other hand, it is a Macduff. The name Deveron came from the river and Macduff came from the opposite settlement Duff House. In 1972 the William Lawson Distillery – a daughter of Bacardi – acquired the distillery. This was Bacardi’s entry into whisky production. Macduff is one of the few distilleries with its own small cooperage

The whisky is malty in style, fruity, nutty and has a pronounced wood note.
