The Braeval Distillery is a very young distillery in the Braes of Glenlivet Valley. Originally called The Valley, it was renamed in 1995 to avoid confusion with The Glenlivet Distillery. It is the highest whisky distillery in Speyside. At times mothballed, the owner has been producing Pernot Ricard again since 2008. Most of the production is used for the blends of Chivas.

The whisky is rather sweet in style with honey and vanilla notes.
