Caol Ila 12Y

Nose: Sweet and very malty nose surrounded by round peat smoke flavours. Fresh floral notes (narcissus) and oak is also present. Definitely from ex-bourbon casks

Palate: Salty tang, lightly oily with a pleasant sweet maltiness. Taste is quite intense

Finish: medium long, salty and spicy, with some omnipresent maltiness, smoked bacon and wet tobacco ashes

Comment: Very nice nose, rich and quite complex for its age, this whisky leaves a very good impression and a pleasant mouth-feel
