The cider among the gins
France is now known for giving free rein to its creativity and distilling more exotic gins.
But with Le Gin de Christian Drouin, the land of wine, champagne, cognacs and cidres surpassed itself once again: Le Gin is produced in Coudray-Rabut, the Calvados region of Normandy, and so Guillaume Drouin, the inventor of this product and at the same time the managing director of Calvados Christian Drouin and Calvados Louis de Lauriston, decided to incorporate something from the region into the juniper spirit.
And so 30 different cider apple varieties wander into this gin, which is blended with 8 other botanicals to create a harmonious overall result. Cider and gin? This blending works perfectly and produces a gin that shines visually and tastefully. .
Absolutely pure tasting and do not forget to take a look at the appealing bottle design. One more thing I would like to reveal:
Le Gin de Christian Drouin is produced in an extremely complex way, by distilling each botanical individually in three small alambic copper stills. In this way around 2,850 bottles are produced per batch.
