Nose: Notes of soft peat smoke, leather-bound books and sticky pudding can be recognised.
Palate: The familiar rich and dirty character of the Kilkerran 8 year old sherry range is evident. Viscous date syrup, blackcurrants, cherries, redcurrants and a maritime coastal flavour.
Finish: As the whisky develops, notes of ashy medicinal smoke, ginger and chocolate orange emerge.
