Knockdhu: Foundation: 1894 pronunciation: “An-nock” meaning: the hill Status: in operation as Knockdhu.

The Distillery Knockdhu. is located in the Speyside near Knock and has the flair of a Distillery of 100 years.  After the reopening of the Knockdhu distillery in 1989, it was decided to avoid confusion with the whiskies of the Knockando distillery and to market the future bottlings under the name of An Cnoc. Today, the whisky can almost only be found under the name of An Cnoc, although the distillery name will continue to be Knockdhu.
Typical for Knockdhu/An Cnoc whiskies are soft, sweet, honey, melon and malty aromas.
