The Cragellachie distillery is located in the heart of Speyside, in the river delta of Fiddich and Spey. Cragellachie is closely linked to the White Horse as Peter Mackie was a co-founder of the distillery. After his death in 1927 the DCL takes over and in 1997 it becomes the property of Dewar’s – Bacardi, as Diageo has to part with some distilleries due to antitrust reasons.
The whisky is fruity, sweet, malty and nutty in style.
